Its composition features a high concentration of pure Type 1 Carnauba wax, along with SiO2 (Silica) and a natural diluent. This wax is extracted from the "eye" (or heart) of the Carnauba palm—specifically from the young, sword-shaped leaves that have not yet undergone photosynthesis and remain protected from impurities. Also known in the industry as "straw-eye wax," it undergoes a rigorous process of distillation, filtration, bleaching, and flaking. The primary markets for this specific variety of wax are the fine cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries. The Auge Carnaúba Stucco wax features a unique filling agent in its composition, designed to mask micro-scratches left behind during the sanding process. This formulation ensures the surface is as smooth and level as possible, thereby delivering a superior mirror-like finish.
